Adidas has made a viable attempt at taking over the summer of 2016. A combination of NMD and Ultra Boost releases has helped the Three Stripes Brand sell out pair after pair all over the world. This is all without even mentioning the mega popular Yeezy line. Not long after the Ultra Boost was originally dropped, sneakerheads everywhere were clamoring for an All White release. This boost model, the Adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged, has been long awaited.
Now, it looks like we’re finally getting a chance to own the uncaged Ultra Boost in that same coveted color scheme. The only time the general public has seen an uncaged Ultra Boost release was the Solebox Collab. This all White iteration comes fitted with a Flyknit upper. That woven base is in a White and Silver colorway, accompanied by Silver details on the midsole and outsole.
No release details or pricing info as of yet have surfaced for the Adidas Ultra Boost Uncaged, but keep it on Kicks Links as we learn more.
The Ultra Boost is a marvel of runner tech and styling. The uncaged version only adds to this model’s appeal. The freed up upper looks like it should come with a sock-like fit. It’s completely Primeknit upper is even more enticing.
Aside from the heel cage, this is an entirely one piece upper. One has to imagine that this sort of build will negatively affect durability. Then again, most of us wont be doing a ton of actual running in these anyway.
