Author’s Take
The 5 comes with plenty of history to make it an interesting sneaker. It’s the first Jordan model to feature a clear outsole. Additionally, the AJ 5 was the first sneaker to feature an upper with molded foam. It was also released originally back in the 1989-1990 season, when the Bulls fell one round short of a title chance.
