And the Olympic releases just keep coming in. Nike is putting out release after release set up on the Rio Games theme. Similarly, Jordan Brand is making sure to take advantage of this summer’s festivities. The Jumpman is introducing the Air Jordan 1 High “Olympic” keeping in line with this season’s hottest sneaker marketing ploy.
The sneaker’s all leather upper features a White base, complimented by deep Royal Blue overlays. The “Olympic” motif finishes with Gold details via the swoosh and Jumpman branding.
Air Jordan 1 High Olympic Release Date
There are a few notable things about this particular iteration. This isn’t one of the original Air Jordan 1 colorways, so it doesn’t feature the much sought after Nike Air branding. What it does bring to the table is an interesting contrast on the upper and noticeable set of Gold details.
This release is a bit tricky. Yes, this is an Olympic themes colorways. Consequently, it makes sense to expect a release sometime this summer. That being said, we don’t have any official release info at this time.
In the meantime, have a look at the pictures above and let us know if you’re feeling this colorway. For more updates and release info, follow us on Twitter. We’ll have release links for you once these officially drop, right here on Kicks Links!
Deep Royal Blue/ Metallic Gold Coin-White
I can already hear people complaining about the lack of Nike Air on the tongue. I have to admit, I’m not too bothered by it. This is a pretty dope colorway for a gorgeous silhouette. The sneaker takes on this color scheme – effortlessly, too – and stays true to its beautifully crafted upper. Maybe most importantly, it’s at a reasonable price point.
The Air Jordan 1 High “Olympic” is an easy cop in my opinion.
